What happened?

A police vehicle was damaged and one man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly behaviour. The game brought together the reigning league champions from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Shamrock Rovers won the one-sided encounter, played in front of almost 6,000 spectators. Most Larne fans entered via the Lisburn Road end of the stadium, while most Shamrock Rovers supporters entered via the Boucher Road entrance.

A PSNI spokesperson said officers are investigating reports of sectarian singing, unlawful processions, and criminal damage. Larne FC has not commented on the incident, while Shamrock Rovers condemned any form of bigotry and discrimination in football.
