Larne's four postponed Irish Premiership fixtures have been given new dates by the Northern Ireland Football League. The Inver Reds will now face Linfield at home on Tuesday, 20 October with a 7:45pm kick-off.
The defending champions had two games delayed due to their involvement in European qualifiers this summer. They will host Limavady United, known as the Roesiders, on Tuesday, 27 October. A trip to face Ballymena United at the Showgrounds is scheduled for Tuesday, 1 December. The final rescheduled match is a home fixture against Dungannon Swifts on Tuesday, 8 December. All three of those games will also start at 7:45pm.
This news comes as Larne sit third in the Premiership table with 13 points from five matches. They are six points behind leaders Coleraine but have won their last four league games, including a 2-0 victory over Cliftonville last weekend.
The team's immediate focus is on their next league assignment away to Carrick Rangers this Saturday. After that, the confirmed dates provide clarity for a busy autumn period as they look to close the gap at the top. The updated standings show the current title race picture.
