Red Star Belgrade Win Big Over Larne in Belgrade, Extend Premiership Lead
Red Star Belgrade continued their dominance in the Premiership table with a 5-0 win over Larne at the Belgrade stadium. The Serbian champions' victory maintained their 4-point lead at the top of the table, with 73 points from 33 games.
The visitors took just three minutes to breach the Larne defense, with Katai scoring the opening goal. However, Larne's defense was breached again 13 minutes later, but the goal was ruled out for offside by the video assistant referee.
Red Star Belgrade took control of the game in the second half, with Arnautovic scoring a powerful effort into the roof of the net to double the hosts' advantage. Rohan Ferguson made multiple key saves in the first half, but was unable to prevent the Serbian champions' third goal, which was scored by Loizou after he misplaced a pass.
